About
I am a deeply committed psychotherapist, the granddaughter of a Freudian analyst and the daughter of two Holocaust survivors. I received my training at the Bryn Mawr Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research in 1981 and received a Post-Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy from the Council for Relationships in 2004. I have training in Gestalt Therapy, Sand tray Therapy, and IFS.
I believe that healing can take place though loving attunement to the life story of the individual client. Providing a safe space for a person or family to talk about their experiences in life, and most especially, their experience of trauma is the key to healing. My practice is client centered, relational and affirmative. It recognizes the resilience of the human spirit.
